After designing and working for months on our new intros, it was exciting to finally see them in person at the Chelsea House showroom!
Jamie pictured here with a few pieces from his collection at the Chelsea House showroom: Harlequin coffee table, Bolton writing desk, Sea Urchin garden seat, and over his shoulder is one of his Audubon prints.
Here's a look at the new intros from the Jamie Merida Collection for Chelsea House:
Sea Urchin Garden Seat in blue. Jamie's signature cascading pearls add a punch of texture and interest to the seat, made of ceramic with a blue glazed finish. This garden seat is perfect indoor or out with a sophisticated coastal vibe.
The Bolton Writing Desk design is a fresh take on the classic Chippendale motif. The desk is a white painted wood table with a Chippendale trellis pattern and glass top, and it’s a perfectly sized writing desk for completing correspondence.
Hand blown glass fish decanter modeled after an 19th century English antique from Jamie's personal collection. Perfect as a statement piece for your bar or liquor cabinet.
The San Remo chest is based on an 18th century Italian commode which Jamie updated with streamlined tapered legs and subtle detailing on the drawer fronts. It's a perfect size for bedside or sofa.
The Malmaison Console Table is a fresh take on a Hollywood Regency console with small ball accents and a glass top that lends a glamorous and luxurious addition to a room. It's available in a gold leafed finish or a matte white finish that feels very Palm Beach chic.
The Malmaison Coffee Table, like the console above, is also available in white metal or gold leaf. It is another Hollywood Regency-style piece with small ball accents and a glass top, but in coffee table size and ready to be a seating area's center of attention. (see above)
The Kent drinks table is a fresh take on an 18th century Regency scatter table. With its cleaned up lines and brass ball details it's perfect with modern and traditional interiors. Available in mahogany, cerused oak, or painted white finishes.
Honorable mention: Jamie's Hanson Tray! Though this was not new for spring 2023, it was the bestseller at market. Its large size (20x30 inches), fine Lucite construction, unique trim accents and healthy weight set it apart from other trays. Perfect as the foundation of a dry bar or on an upholstered ottoman that lets the fabric show through.
The first Jamie Merida Collection for Chelsea House line launched in 2017. Other bestsellers over the years include the Easton Mirror, Sanibel Console, Waterfall Console, Chinoiserie Panels, Directoire Table, Pagoda Mirror, and Cherry Blossom Mirror, to name a few.
