We are so excited to share a sneak peek of a brand new project we're calling "Traditional Whimsy!" It may seem that the words "traditional" and "whimsy" don't belong together, but I think this project will show that they do.
The homeowners wanted to achieve a look that is consistent with the traditional architecture of their home. But they also wanted it to feel like a warm and inviting place for friends and family to gather.
We chose textiles and details that have traditional motifs. Think nailhead trim, deep wood tones, and Chinoiserie...
Then we layered in fun accents that add pops of color and personality... and whimsy! Think parrots, cocktails, and sunflowers!!
This project will be published later this year, and we can't wait to share it with you! The full effect is stunning. Beautiful work by lead designer Carol Wheeler!
